Former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker has not featured on All Elite Wrestling programming for more than a year. The star's whereabouts are currently unknown, and many fans believe that her time in the Jacksonville-based company is over.
Interestingly, in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Tony Khan gave a positive update on the D.M.D. The 43-year-old praised the former champion and was confident that she would make a comeback. He added that Baker was very important to him, and the company was waiting for the right situation to reintroduce her.
"I'm just looking for the right time with Britt. I think Britt’s a great person in and out of the ring. So I would love to have Britt back in AEW, and Britt is going to be back. I really believe in AEW, and I hope soon, but it’s going to be the right situation for her and everybody involved," he said.

"And I want to make sure she’s 100% and that’s important to me, and I really care about that, the health and well-being of all the wrestlers, and in Britt’s case, I think she can come in and still be a huge part of AEW, and I expect she will." [H/T: SEScoops]
Tony Khan explains why Britt Baker has been out of action
In the abovementioned interview, Tony Khan also revealed that Baker has been inactive due to health and injury-related issues.
"Britt Baker is somebody that I love and respect who’s also been in AEW from the very beginning. She had been away at times for health reasons, and she had some injuries," Khan added.
Fans are overjoyed because they have finally received an update on Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. Hopefully, Tony Khan will eventually bring her back to All Elite Wrestling.
