AEW was founded by Tony Khan and a few wrestlers in 2019. The Jacksonville-based company is now a professional wrestling juggernaut, and WWE's biggest competitor in decades. Many former WWE names, such as Bobby Lashley, Bryan Danielson, Swerve Strickland, Toni Storm, and more, are currently signed to All Elite Wrestling. One such name is former two-time WWE United States Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP). MVP spent multiple years in World Wrestling Entertainment. However, he feels more comfortable working for Tony Khan. In a recent conversation with Adventure Gamers, the 52-year-old praised the AEW president and revealed the backstage differences between the two promotions. MVP said wrestlers are made to feel like they are walking on eggshells in WWE. However, that's not the case in All Elite Wrestling. "Tony Khan is a lot more interactive and will take in a lot more ideas and he’s more willing to be pliable when it comes to his vision. He’s just a nice guy. He’s always happy and I’ve never seen him be mean to somebody,"He further stated, "It’s a much different environment where WWE was very corporate, very tight laced, for some people even uncomfortable and they’re made to feel like they’re walking on eggshells and people are scared of getting fired. That environment doesn’t exist in AEW. It’s way more relaxed. No one’s walking on eggshells. The boss has time for everybody. And it’s super fun. No stress," he said.
