A major faction returned to AEW Dynamite tonight after 25 months of absence. Beloved stars John Silver, Alex Reynolds, and Evil Uno are part of the Dark Order. The stable was one of the first groups in the Jacksonville-based promotion. In recent years, the group has mostly been featured on Collision and ROH shows. Their last match on Dynamite took place on October 25 against Hook and Rob Van Dam. A report from May earlier this year claimed that the stable had no creative plans. However, it seems like they are back in the mix. They briefly appeared in some taped segments on the flagship show last year while feuding with the Death Riders. They returned tonight to take on Hook and two-thirds of the AEW World Trios Champions, Katsuyori Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs. Ahead of their match, they warned their former ally, Hangman Page, not to interfere in the contest, as he had differences with The Opps.Unfortunately, the Dark Order couldn't emerge victorious in the high-stakes match. Fans showed massive support for their all-time favorite. After the match, The Cowboy confronted Katsuyori, Hook, and Hobbs.A veteran criticized AEW star Jon Moxley's match against Evil UnoThe Dark Order has rarely been booked as a tag team on Dynamite in recent weeks, and the members of the faction have barely had any singles matches on the flagship show. Evil Uno was once booked to face former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley in February 2023. While the match was gritty and brutal, it was highly criticized by WCW veteran Disco Inferno.Disco Inferno recently took to X and claimed that Evil Uso shouldn't have booked to main event Dynamite."Dynamite was a decent show with some strong segments until the main event. You can't put a fat wrestler with t**s in the last segment and have him bleed profusely all over the place and think that is how you draw viewers. #AEWDynamite," Disco tweeted. It remains to be seen what is next for the Dark Order, as fans thoroughly enjoyed the trio's performance.
