The Natural became the TNT Champion at AEW All In Texas this year, winning his first major singles title after decades. However, he dropped the title to Kyle Fletcher a few weeks later and subsequently underwent double knee replacement surgery.

Amidst the hard road to recovery, Dustin Rhodes took to his X to reveal a new update regarding his health. He stated that due to his knee replacements, his arthritis was gone, which was a positive outcome. At the same time, Rhodes also added that he would undergo a procedure to correct his shoulders once he retires from in-ring competition.

The one positive I can say about my knee replacements is, the arthritis is gone. I will be doing both shoulder when I call it quits. They are also destroyed. I chose to abuse my body in more ways than 1, and wouldn't change a damn thing.

Dustin Rhodes reveals potential timeline for his AEW return

In another social media post, Dustin Rhodes revealed that it had been less than three months since his knee replacement surgery. His body has been taking longer to recover, considering his age. Despite that, Rhodes stated that he was on track and would potentially make his return to AEW by late February or early March.

"Knee replacements update: We are just under 3 months out. I am still in a considerable amount of pain especially in mornings. I am 56 yrs old and it is taking a lot longer for recovery guys. The hardest thing for me at this moment, is getting up from a chair, and stepping down a step with right especially. My legs have always been pretty thin and cannot wait to actually strengthen them more on e I am able. I am on track for my age and then some and I would assume its because I have a strong work ethic and an athlete. Prob late Feb, early March for the greatest comeback of anyone in their 50's. 🙏🏼 If you can't make fun of yourself, then what are we doing lol. Pic below is me #KeepSteppin"

With a tough road still ahead of him, we wish Dustin Rhodes a speedy recovery and hope to see him back soon.
