An AEW star got checked on by a doctor due to an injury concern during a major title match. The star has apparently been dealing with a shoulder injury on TV.The doctor checked in on the AEW star, Bandido, during his match. The luchador suffered a shoulder injury two months ago during his match in CMLL. He has been playing into the same injury on TV ever since. The 30-year-old star has not fully recovered, yet it seems, as he still shows concern for his shoulder between his matches.At the Ring of Honor Final Battle 2025 pay-per-view, Bandido defended his ROH World Championship in a 6-man survival of the fittest match against Hechicero, Sammy Guevara, Blake Christian, Kommander, and The Beast Mortos. After Blake got eliminated, he attempted to injure Bandido by attacking his arms.Bandido was checked by a medical official for any injury concerns. Nevertheless, the luchador was absolutely fine, as the injury angle seemed to be a part of the Kayfabe. He also went on to continue the match and pinned Hechicero at the end to successfully retain his ROH World title.AEW star is open to forming a trio with popular starsThe AEW star Bandido was the World Tag Team Champion alongside Brody King for a few months before losing the titles to FTR at Full Gear 2025. Interestingly, Brody was already aligned with the currently absent Buddy Matthews on TV.Speaking with WrestleZone earlier this year, Bandido addressed the duo of Brody King and Buddy Matthews, saying he could adjust to their styles and form a trio with them when Buddy returns:“A lot of people are asking Brody about Buddy [Matthews]. So if Brody and Buddy are already aligned, I can adjust my style to them. I got the two giants [by my side] and ‘The Most Wanted’ Bandido, that would be amazing for me,” Bandido said.Fans will have to wait and see what's next for Bandido.
