AEW is set to host its Full Gear event this weekend from the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey. The company has been building a lot of hype around the event, and it seems like they have high expectations for it. However, just ahead of the show, the Jacksonville-based promotion has seen a significant ratings decline.
Last week, the company successfully increased its viewership. The Blood & Guts special show witnessed a major hike in TV ratings. However, this week, things have gone significantly low. This week's Dynamite featured a huge non-title showdown between Hangman Page and Katsuyori Shibata. Meanwhile, it had a star-studded lineup featuring Death Riders, Toni Storm, and other top stars.
According to Wrestlenomics, the November 19 episode of Dynamite averaged 491,000 viewers, which is 18.16 percent lower than last week's episode, which averaged 600,000 viewers. Additionally, Dynamite ranked #7 for the night on cable among P18-49.
Moreover, Collision immediately followed Dynamite, which averaged at 322,000 viewers and a 0.07 P18-49 rating. With such a downfall in the ratings, only time will tell how Tony Khan will prepare for the Full Gear show this weekend.

Tony Khan has built a solid card for AEW Full Gear this Saturday
AEW usually gets a good rating for its pay-per-view shows. Fans often praise Tony Khan for building stacked cards for special events that live up to the hype. It seems like the All Elite Wrestling President has followed the same pattern for Full Gear as well.
The show is set to be headlined with an action-packed Steel Cage match between Hangman Page and Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship. Meanwhile, Kris Statlander will defend her AEW Women's World Championship against Mercedes Mone in a much-awaited showdown.
Besides, Jon Moxley will be in action against former WWE star Kyle O'Reilly in a No Holds Barred Match. Apart from these matches, Kenny Omega will team up with Jurassic Express to take on a team of The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander for $1,000,000 cash prize. All of that and more is set to take place at Full Gear this Saturday.
