A member of the Death Riders had a rare reaction to Renee Paquette's social media post following AEW Blood and Guts a few days ago. This seemed to be a break in character for the individual.
All members of the faction competed in the brutal Blood and Guts match, with Marina Shafir also getting a chance to represent the group alongside other top heels on the roster. She was a major factor in the women's match and the one who scored the win for her side as she had Mina Shirakawa locked in a submission hold. Toni Storm was forced to watch this scene unfold and eventually surrendered on behalf of her friend.
Renee Paquette took to X/Twitter to react to the Women's Blood and Guts match, expressing her full praise for all those involved in the bout. Marina Shafir responded to this with an emoji, as she enjoyed the compliment she was given. This was a rare show of emotion from the Death Riders member.
"🥰," Shafir posted.

The rest of the Death Riders lost at Blood and Guts
It was a different story for the Men's Blood and Guts match, as despite holding several major advantages throughout the match, the faction still suffered a loss, with Jon Moxley tapping out to Kyle O'Reilly.
The Conglomeration and Darby Allin were at a disadvantage as they had to deal with Gabe Kidd getting involved in the match, and Mark Briscoe being taken out by the Don Callis Family. They made no excuses and were able to defy the odds to take the win.
Post-match, Orange Cassidy went as far as to rub in Jon Moxley's face that he tapped out. He has been on a downward spiral after losing to Darby Allin at WrestleDream, and his loss at Blood and Guts might make things worse.
The Death Riders are in a bad place now, and it remains to be seen how they'll deal with their setbacks. This could lead to big changes coming their way in order for them to return to their path to success.
