A major AEW star made his return tonight at Blood and Guts and tried to set Darby Allin on fire. The name in question, NJPW star Gabe Kidd, has proven to be a crucial factor for the Death Riders over the past few months. He was part of the group during the Lights Out Steel Cage match at AEW Forbidden Door. He made a surprise return tonight to help his allies.
The heel faction unleashed ruthless violence on Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, and The Conglomeration throughout the match. Still, the babyfaces tried their best to minimize the Death Riders' attacks. The One True King's army had a brief advantage when Mark Briscoe was out of the equation. However, his return led to the comeback of the babyface faction.
The Death Riders then brought in Gabe Kidd, and he immediately went after Darby Allin. He and PAC took him near the entrance ramp. While Darby and The Bastard went up on the structure, the former IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion set up tables and even set fire to them. PAC then threw Allin onto the tables. For a brief moment, The Relentless star was engulfed in the flames but rolled out of the way.

Jon Moxley surrenders to end AEW Blood and Guts
The Conglomeration somehow survived the violent raid by the Death Riders. In the closing moments of the match, Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly took down Claudio Castagnoli and then turned their attention to the main culprit, Jon Moxley.
Kyle O'Reilly held The Purveyor of Violence in an ankle hold. This was not the first time Jon Moxley found himself in this situation. During the duo's last encounter a few weeks ago, the Death Riders leader disqualified himself because he didn't want to submit to the same move. However, he couldn't disqualify himself tonight, as a Blood and Guts match only accepts one's capitulation for the bout to end.
After hesitating for a few moments, the former AEW World Champion finally surrendered. The Conglomeration, Darby Allin, and Roderick Strong stood tall to end the show.
