Current AEW star posts a heartwarming picture with the late Brodie Lee

Former AEW TNT Champion Brodie Lee passed away in December 2020 at the age of 41. He was best known for his time in WWE, where he performed under the ring name Luke Harper. At the Stamford-based company, he held the Intercontinental Championship once and the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship on two occasions.

Lee was loved and respected by several fellow wrestlers. Former World Tag Team Champion and current AEW star Dax Harwood was a good friend of his. Harwood recently posted an old picture on X/Twitter of himself with Lee and other wrestling stars, including Sami Zayn, Bayley, and Bryan Danielson.

Although the former WWE star didn't provide any information about the picture, it appears to be several years old.

Lee, who died days after his 41st birthday, was the leader of The Dark Order, whose members currently consist of Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, John Silver, and Brodie Lee Jr. (Lee's son).

Tony Khan and the former WWE star shared a strong bond. In a recent interview with Forbes, the 43-year-old heaped praise on Lee by calling him a phenomenal person and an incredible wrestler.

"I think that Mr. Brodie Lee was a phenomenal person. He's an incredible wrestler who came to AEW right as that aforementioned lockdown hit. His first appearance in AEW ever was actually the first of that long run of events in Daily's Place. He appeared for the very first time in what were challenging circumstances for AEW. Lee was a rare talent and had the appearance of a mega star. Had he still been alive, he would have won multiple world titles. May his soul rest in peace.
