A current champion in AEW seemingly referenced the WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry after this week's Dynamite. The star performed Henry's move at the end of the latest Dynamite episode.The current AEW World Trios Champion, Powerhouse Hobbs subtly acknowledged the WWE veteran, Mark Henry. In the main event of Dynamite this week, Hobbs teamed up with Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata as they defended their World Trios titles against the team of Hangman Page, Eddie Kingston, and HOOK.During the trios encounter, Powerhouse Hobbs slammed Hangman through a table from the stage. Hobbs' move was similar to Henry's iconic finisher, 'World's Strongest Slam.' Reacting to the slam on X, Hobbs also wrote the following in his post:"WORLD STRONGEST SLAM!!!"After Hangman Page was taken out of the equation, Powerhouse Hobbs made HOOK tap out with a torture rack in the ring to help The Opps retain their World trios titles at the end of the show.WWE legend Mark Henry recently claimed AEW disrespected himMark Henry was signed with AEW from 2021 to 2024 in a backstage role. The WWE Hall of Famer claimed that Tony Khan's promotion disrespected him by naming the 'World's Strongest Slam' as the 'Most Dangerous Slam.'Speaking on the Busted Open Radio recently, Henry stated the following:"They called it the Most Dangerous Slam (...) They don't call it the World's Strongest Slam. They're like, 'F*** Mark Henry.' F*** you, how about that? That's to whose decision that is [to rename the slam]. You cannot disrespect me and expect me to kiss your a** about it. I'm not gonna do it. I'd rather be fired or kicked off the air before I let somebody feel like they all got power over me."Following his departure from All Elite Wrestling last year, Henry has been seen on major promotions such as WWE and TNA.
