AEW veteran MVP has suddenly made a major revelation following something that occurred during one of his recent matches. He mentioned how, fortunately, things did not end up being worse than they looked.
The former WWE Superstar has been thriving in his role as the mouthpiece and third man of the Hurt Syndicate. The group has been on a dominant run during their time in AEW, where they even had a brief reign as the world tag team champions.
MVP has taken to Instagram to reveal some battle scars of his following one of his recent matches. He mentioned how table debris cut a bit of skin on his wrist. The veteran claimed that this could have ended up being worse and took this as a small sacrifice for the wrestling gods.

"From a few days ago. The table debris gave me a nice little filet slice. Still burns/stings. Could have been a lot worse. The Wrestling Gods claimed their flesh and sent me onwards!" the veteran posted.
MVP also revealed he's been dealing with a bit of neck issues
Over the past month or so, the Hurt Syndicate has been feuding with The Demand. They have had three trios bouts to settle their feud, with the former winning the head-to-head matchup.
During his appearance on Marking Out, MVP revealed that following the Street Fight, which took place on Dynamite: Title Tuesday, he was dealing with some neck issues. He mentioned how this was whiplash following a spot during the match, which saw him take a dive from Ricochet.
“My neck’s been bothering me since the street fight. Got a little whiplash from that, uh, Ricochet dive," he said.
Despite his age, the veteran is still giving his all in the ring. It remains to be seen whether he'll continue to compete as the Hurt Syndicate's third man or if, eventually, he'll transition to being purely a manager of the group and search for a new member of the group who will be the one to compete alongside Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
