Jeff Jarrett has reached a major milestone on his current AEW run. The Last Outlaw had arrived in the Tony Khan-led promotion three years ago.

Jeff Jarrett is revered throughout the wrestling world for his contributions to the industry, not only as a talent but also as a promoter, booker, and backstage producer. He has served in these various capacities across a number of promotions, including WCW, WWE, TNA, Global Force Wrestling, and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. Reports from 2019 indicated that the veteran had been appointed to WWE's creative team; however, two years later, he parted ways with the sports entertainment juggernaut.

Jarrett continued making appearances on the indie circuit in 2022, defeating Effy at GCW The WRLD in January and teaming with Jay Lethal to battle Andrade and Ric Flair in The Nature Boy's "Last Match" in July. Although he had rejoined WWE in May as the company's Senior Vice President of Live Events and even served as a special guest referee for The Usos vs. The Street Profits at SummerSlam, he left the Stamford-based promotion once again in August. Months later, on the November 2, 2022, edition of AEW Dynamite, Double J made his AEW debut by attacking Darby Allin.

Users on social media have pointed out that it has been three years to the day since Jarrett's All Elite Wrestling arrival. He made his in-ring debut for the promotion that same month, unsuccessfully teaming with Jay Lethal to take on Darby Allin and Sting.

Sportskeeda Wrestling extends its heartiest congratulations to Jeff Jarrett for completing three years in All Elite Wrestling.

What was Jeff Jarrett's last AEW match?

At the start of 2025, Jeff Jarrett had revealed that he had signed his last talent contract with All Elite Wrestling, and that he was gunning for a shot at the AEW World Championship. After failing to earn a title match by winning the #1 Contender's Casino Gauntlet bout on the January 8 episode of Dynamite, The King of The Mountain had called out Jon Moxley for a one-on-one showdown.

However, the legend was then blindsided by Claudio Castagnoli, following which Jarrett challenged The Swiss Cyborg to face him, under the condition that he would receive a shot at Mox if he beat Claudio. The All Elite Director of Business Development battled Castagnoli on January 29, but was defeated by The King of Swing, courtesy of interference from Wheeler Yuta and Jon Moxley himself.

As things stand, Jarrett has not competed inside an All Elite Wrestling ring since. Notably, the Tennessee native was ambushed by MJF, whom he had also been feuding with at the time, after his loss to Castagnoli.
