After failing to earn a title match by winning the #1 Contender's Casino Gauntlet bout on the January 8 episode of Dynamite, The King of The Mountain had called out Jon Moxley for a one-on-one showdown.However, the legend was then blindsided by Claudio Castagnoli, following which Jarrett challenged The Swiss Cyborg to face him, under the condition that he would receive a shot at Mox if he beat Claudio.
