Chris Jericho has been the talk of the town in professional wrestling as of late. He is rumored to be on his way to make a grand comeback to WWE following the reports of his AEW contract expiring. Recently, a WWE veteran made a major claim about Y2J that could change the perspective on how people are seeing the situation with Jericho.
Vince Russo gave his thoughts on the current situation with Jericho. Various rumors suggest that WWE and Jericho are in talks to make a return. As per many veterans, it could be an incredible moment that has the potential to shake the world of pro-wrestling. However, Russo believes that all of these rumors are absolutely hollow and Y2J won't be returning to the Stamford-based promotion.
Speaking on Writing with Russo, Vince Russo said that Jericho is only holding his return to professional wrestling to get more money from AEW. He added that it could be his way to negotiate his contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion, while making a buzz around his name once again in the industry.
"What I think is that the rumors are absolutely bulls**t. If the rumor is out there, that is Chris Jericho trying to get more money from AEW. And you know, that definitely is a Chris Jericho move," said Russo.
