AEW star Chris Jericho recently shared an interesting stat about John Cena. The wrestling veteran had several matches against The Cenation Leader back in the day.

Jericho has been a founding member of AEW since the Jacksonville-based promotion started in 2019. The former AEW World Champion has put on several classic matchups for the promotion and been a major part of the company's initial success. However, the star's deal is set to expire, and there are rumors that he may return to WWE.

In a recent Instagram Story, Jericho shared a post showing an interesting stat about John Cena. The post detailed the number of times John has tapped out in his career. The Franchise leader has only tapped out four times in his entire wrestling career against three different opponents. The men to submit the 17-time World Champion are Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, and Kurt Angle. In fact, Angle is the only man to tap out Cena twice.

John Cena will face Gunther in his final match

WWE organized a huge Last Time Is Now Tournament to determine John Cena's final opponent. Several stars from both RAW and SmackDown competed in the tournament for an opportunity to make history.

This week on SmackDown, LA Knight and Gunther faced off in the final of The Last Time Is Now Tournament. The two stars brought their A-Game as the match swayed to-and-fro.

Knight fought bravely, kicking out of two top-rope splashes and a vicious powerbomb. He even connected with his own BFT, but Gunther put his foot on the rope. The match ended when The Ring General got his opponent with a modified version of the STF, forcing The Megastar to tap out.

Gunther will now face John Cena at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. It will be interesting to see if The Ring General can make Cena tap out for the fifth time in his career.
