Konnan says WWE might have a verbal deal with Chris Jericho
The Demo God is under an AEW contract and cannot speak with another company until his existing deal expires.
While speaking on Keeping It 100 OFFICIAL, Konnan speculated that Chris Jericho might have a secret 'verbal deal' with the global sports entertainment juggernaut. The WCW veteran also said his WWE run would involve fresh feuds, should it come to fruition.
"He always kept close to the vest, like he never lets you know which way he is leaning and unless... he's doing a work with Tony [Khan] where he ends up staying with Tony, then he's basically, already probably made some sort of a verbal deal with WWE and like I have said before, 'Why wouldn't he?' Why wouldn't he want to go to a place where he can make a lot of money? He has made tons with Tony. He would make a lot of money, call his shots, fresh matchups and old matches," Konnan said.
