Bryan Danielson announced his retirement from full-time wrestling after losing to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream 2024. He recently transitioned to the commentary role on Dynamite every week. Fans have been loving Bryan in the new commentary role, but he seems to be facing issues.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insights, Danielson revealed why he was asked to do commentary, and he is facing difficulties traveling:

“It’s been interesting because I wasn’t anticipating being a commentator. So I was at home, and then they asked me to come in because Taz was getting shoulder surgery, and to come and help out a little bit. But traveling has been difficult for me. That’s one of the things I didn’t expect, because I’ve traveled my entire adult life. It’s no big deal."

Danielson further opened up on the condition of his neck and how it's been hard sleeping:

"But with my neck as bad as it is, all of a sudden, it was almost, gosh. It was like eight or nine months where I was only traveling maybe once a month. I’d go to the pay-per-views and all that kind of stuff. But yeah, the weekly travel has been a lot, and it’s just been made sleeping hard and that sort of thing.” [H/T chrisvanvliet.com]

Bryan Danielson may have revealed the new Death Riders leader in AEW

The Death Riders faction in AEW is currently led by Jon Moxley. Last Wednesday on Dynamite, Moxley got defeated by his stablemate, Claudio Castagnoli. While on commentary, Bryan Danielson stated that BCC saw Moxley as a leader because he couldn't defeat him, but Claudio defeated Moxley now:

"When we were in the Blackpool Combat Club together, I was never able to defeat Jon Moxley, that's why we saw him as the leader. Claudio Castagnoli has just defeated Jon Moxley!" Bryan said.

With his above statement, Danielson may have subtly confirmed that Claudio Castagnoli could be the new leader of the Death Riders.
