Bryan Danielson made an interesting comment about the Death Riders just moments ago on AEW Dynamite. He has just hinted at a leadership change within the faction.

The faction has gone through its fair share of ups and downs this year. They can still be considered one of the most dominant factions in terms of talent and firepower, but they have found themselves taking major losses in the matches that matter.

Jon Moxley's composure has wavered as he has been at the center of them all, and on multiple occasions has lost the match for his team. But now, the Death Riders are focused on the Continental Classic with three members entered into the tournament.

Moments ago, during AEW Dynamite's main event, Mox and Claudio Castagnoli clashed in their first singles bout since 2017. This contest was part of the Blue League, and both men were tied at one win apiece. In the end, Claudio was able to score the win after landing a brutal uppercut with five minutes left in the contest. He now has six points.

Bryan Danielson made an interesting comment about this post-match. He mentioned that during their time in the Blackpool Combat Club, everyone, including himself, saw Jon Moxley as their leader because no one could defeat him.

This comes at an interesting time, as Claudio Castagnoli is showing why he deserves to be the new leader of the Death Riders. Last week, he won the CMLL World Heavyweight Title and is now undefeated in the Continental Classic.

Another interesting hint was their entrances earlier. Only Marina Shafir was accompanying Jon Moxley, and the rest of the members were all flanking Claudio. It seems a change in the chain of command within the Death Riders may come soon.
