Britt Baker remains absent from AEW. However, as the company was gearing up to present this year's Blood and Guts episode, she dropped a cryptic message right before it.
The Doctor's last appearance on AEW television was a year ago. She wrestled Penelope Ford on the November 13, 2024, edition of Dynamite and has been on a prolonged hiatus ever since. Moreover, there had been rumors about her leaving the company; however, she is reportedly still under contract with AEW and will remain so until 2026.
Despite her absence, Britt Baker has continued to make major public appearances and share personal updates on social media. However, just before last night's Blood and Guts 2025 episode, the former AEW Women's World Champion replied to a post that referred to the show on X/Twitter.
Baker responded to a recent post by Ringside Collectibles. They released a new collection of action figures featuring Britt Baker to promote AEW Blood and Guts 2025, and asked the online audience to choose their favorite figure; The Doctor picked her own.

Britt Baker made a lighthearted comment about Florida weather
Britt Baker recently showed her funny side by taking a dig at herself. The AEW star revealed that she used to walk to her class in blizzards and found it no big deal. However, Baker said that she had now grown weak and could no longer handle the weather right now in Florida, where she currently resides.
"I'm so embarrassing like I grew up in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Like I'm a Pennsylvania girl. Punxsutawney, Pittsburgh, Penn State. I used to walk to class for 40 minutes in blizzards, in ice, in snow, and it was like, whatever, it's fine, it's no big deal. Like in my uggs no less, slipping and sliding all over the place, there was no traction on those f**ing things, but it's 52 degrees in Florida right now, and I'm ready to die, I'm ready to just call it. It's so cold. What happened to me? I was tough, I was a bad b*ch with the cold weather, and now I'm so soft, I'm so weak."
While Baker remains active on social media, it remains to be seen whether Tony Khan will bring her back on AEW television.
