Tony Khan and a few wrestlers founded AEW in 2019. The company is now a global professional wrestling phenomenon and is having a historic year.
All Elite Wrestling has numerous titles. They recently introduced the AEW National Championship. The inaugural and reigning champion is Ricochet. He won this title by winning a 12-man Casino Gauntlet match last month at Full Gear. The former WWE star joined the Jacksonville-based company in 2024 and has become one of its most important names. Furthermore, he is the leader of the Demand, a faction comprising himself, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona.
Tony Khan has immense faith in the Human Highlight Reel. In a recent interview with Battleground Podcast, he revealed that several wrestling promotions are interested in booking the national champion in their shows.
"Lots of promotions want to bring Ricochet. He's a hot booking right now as the national champion, so that's a great thing for us," he said.

Paul Wight wants Tony Khan to sign former WWE star Baron Corbin
In a recent interview with Notsam Wrestling Live, AEW star Paul Wight (fka Big Show) said that Khan should sign former WWE star Baron Corbin. He believes that the 41-year-old would improve the All Elite Wrestling product.
“When I look at people that can help AEW, Tom [Pestock] is a guy that I think could help our product. I really do. It’s funny, I don’t know why I haven’t thought of this before but I just heard him talk, I’m like, 'oh yeah, this guy can work,' and he’s not working with the other company [WWE] anymore. Holy sh*t, this is a steal," Wight said.
Tony Khan has signed several former WWE stars so far. Corbin might be a good addition to his roster. Only time will tell what the future holds for the former WWE United States Champion.
