A former WWE Superstar made her in-ring debut in AEW following a surprise appearance last week. The star was released by the Stamford-based promotion last year and remains a free agent.Nixon Newell (fka Tegan Nox) finally made her AEW in-ring debut. The 30-year-old star was let go from the WWE last year and has been active on the independent wrestling scene throughout 2025. Last week on Collision, Nixon showed up backstage alongside Miranda Alize to interrupt Tay Melo and Anna Jay.Nixon Newell made her in-ring debut in Tony Khan's promotion on the most recent episode of Collision. She teamed with Miranda Alize for a tag team match against the team of Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir. Miranda had wrestled in All Elite Wrestling back in 2021.Unfortunately, Newell's AEW in-ring debut didn't turn out to be pleasant, as she and Miranda suffered defeat against Shafir and Bayne in just two minutes.Former WWE star on her dream matches in AEWEarlier this year, Nixon Newell opened up on her dream match in AEW. Speaking on We Just Talk Wrestling, she listed the likes of Mercedes Mone, Athena, Toni Storm, and more as her dream opponents:"There's so many. Kris Statlander, that could be a banger. Mercedes Mone, I'd like to run that back with her again. Athena, dude. There's so many people I want to wrestle Willow Nightingale. So many people. So many people I want to wrestle. So Toni Storm's up there, just because I wrestled Toni for a very, very long time. I've known Toni for close to my entire career. So that's probably like 12 years I've known Tony. Alex Windsor, obviously, big history with her."Fans will have to wait and see when Nixon Newell will be back on AEW TV following her in-ring debut on Collision.
