Swerve Strickland teased an alliance with "Hangman" Adam Page. After Page lost his AEW World Title to Samoa Joe at Full Gear 2025, Swerve made his return following months of absence and had a brief confrontation with Page. The following Wednesday on Dynamite, Swerve and Adam Page appeared together to deal with The Opps.

Last Wednesday on Dynamite, "Hangman" Adam Page called out Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps for a fight on Dynamite: Winter is Coming. While speculations were being made regarding Page's potential tag team partner, Swerve Strickland offered an alliance, but with a twist: it would be for one night only.

During his live promo on the latest episode of AEW Collision, Swerve said the following:

10 Shocking Injuries That Destroyed WWE Stars - Watch Here!

"The word on the street is that you're looking for another desperado to ride in the battle against The Opps. So what do you say? How about Swerve being the one backing you up at Winter is Coming? For one night and one night only. After that, me and you Hangman are gonna have to sit down again and have a very, very serious conversation."

After offering an alliance with Adam Page, Swerve also got interrupted by Josh Alexander of The Don Callis Family before he was attacked from behind by Katsuyori Shibata. Josh challenged Strickland to a match, and the two will be facing each other next week on Collision.

During his promo on Collision, Swerve also made it clear that he has his sights set on Samoa Joe's AEW World Championship. It's been a while since Strickland won his last world title in the Tony Khan-led promotion. It will be interesting to see if Swerve is in line for another world title shot.
