Christian Cage has been one of the most veteran names associated with All Elite Wrestling for the past few years. Over the years, Cage has made a name for himself as the top heel of the Jacksonville-based promotion. But tonight, his fans rejoice as he celebrates a personal milestone himself.

Cage has been part of the pro wrestling industry for over 30 years. He has worked in promotions like TNA, NWA, and NJPW, but he reached incredible heights in WWE. However, after an illustrious career in the industry, Christian Cage made his AEW debut in 2021. It marked the beginning of a game-changing run for him in the promotion, where he became a 2-time TNT Champion and a World Trios Champion alongside his Patriarchy.

Today, on November 30, Christian Cage celebrates his 52nd birthday, marking yet another successful year for him in terms of professional success. Cage has been absent from regular in-ring action in AEW. His last match was at All Out pay-per-view in September against FTR, where he teamed up with his best friend, Adam Copeland.

The two tag teams have delivered several amazing tag team matches, earning them a status as legends in the world of pro wrestling. Recently, Matt Hardy reminisced about a historic match with Cage and Copeland in WWE that happened 26 years ago.

Taking to X, Hardy shared a video from No Mercy 1999, featuring the first-ever tag team ladder match between Matt & Jeff Hardy, then known as The New Brood, taking on Edge & Christian. Hardy mentioned that the match put all four of them on the map and gave them the star status in WWE.

"26 years ago today, says the 'net.. The 1st ever #TagTeam #LadderMatch happened & it put me, Jeff, Christian & Edge on the map. This match at #WWE #NoMercy made us into stars," wrote Matt.

After that, WWE began using ladder matches more frequently on its shows. Besides, that match kicked off a new wave of tag team wrestling in the industry, helping the business reach new heights.
