WCW, TNA, and AEW legend Sting is currently on his farewell tour. The Icon retired from in-ring competition last year.

At last year's Revolution pay-per-view, Sting wrestled his final match ever, successfully defending the AEW World Tag Team Title alongside Darby Allin against The Young Bucks in a Texas Tornado bout. Even after hanging up his boots, however, the Hall of Famer has continued to watch his face-painted protege's back. For instance, he saved Darby from being set on fire by The Elite at All In: London 2024. More recently, at last month's WrestleDream, The Vigilante arrived to rescue Allin from the onslaught of the Death Riders during his "I Quit" match against Jon Moxley.

Despite being done with active competition in the squared circle, Sting has continued to make appearances at various pro-wrestling and pop-culture events and conventions, having announced earlier that he would retire his iconic face-paint at the end of this year.

The latest stop of the legend's 2025 or Never tour took him to WrestleVerse x AnimeVerse: Louisiana in Baton Rouge this past weekend. The "Franchise of WCW" shared clips of his various interactions with fans at the event just a while ago on Instagram. He also announced his next destination on the tour - Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Sting revealed in an interview last year that he had signed a non-wrestling licensing deal with AEW.

Darby Allin paid homage to Sting once again on AEW Dynamite last week

At WrestleDream 2025, Darby Allin forced Jon Moxley to quit after trapping him in a Scorpion Deathlock, his mentor and tag partner Sting's signature submission hold, inside the water-logged and glass-strewn ring. The daredevil has not ceased his war against the Death Riders, however, and last week on Fright Night AEW Dynamite, the former TNT Champion teamed with Orange Cassidy to battle Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia. The bout ended with Darby submitting Yuta by once again deploying the Scorpion Deathlock on the latter.

Allin, OC, the Conglomeration, and Roderick Strong also challenged the Death Riders to face them in this year's men's edition of Blood and Guts, scheduled for later this month.
