Goldberg is one of th most iconic professional wrestlers of all times. He retired from in-ring competition earlier this year after losing to Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event. At a recent event, AEW star Paul Wight (fka Big Show) asked the former Universal Champion to pick him up.The 58-year old star was one of the most iconic names in professional wrestling during the late 90s and early 2000s. He was one of the biggest stars in WCW and immediately gained main event status following his debut in WWE after WCW's demise.He made his return to pro-wrestling after nearly a decade for WWE in 2016 facing the likes of Brock Lesnar and Kevin Owens. He competed in his final match against the Ring General Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event in July for the World Heavyweight Championship.At a recent event, Goldberg was picking up a fan during a meet and greet. Big Show was sitting just next to the stall hosting the former Universal Champion. Upon seeing the fan being lifted up, Show stated that he also wants to be picked up by Bill. To this, the WWE Hall of Famer replied saying that picking up the fan was worse than picking him up."That was worse than picking you up" he said. He even said that he was putting more spotlight on Asuka by saying it."And bro, it's not only that. My God, come on, Bill. How many people during that time were watching Goldberg's streak compared to how many people were watching Asuka's streak in NXT?"
