An AEW broadcast personality hilariously channeled and mocked WWE Creative Head Triple H on the farewell edition of his show. The star in question, RJ City, has served as the host of Hey!(EW) over the past 3 years.

The Canadian began his career inside the squared circle in 2006, and over the next several years performed across the North American independent circuit in promotions such as Great Canadian Wrestling, Empire State Wrestling and International Wrestling Cartel (a promotion where, incidentally, he had done battle against former TNT Champion Wardlow back in 2016). Between 2020 and 2021, RJ also had a brief stint in WWE as a digital content producer and interviewer.

From around 2022 onwards, RJ City began working for AEW, launching his highly-popular interview series, Hey!(EW), that same year. The YouTube show has featured many of the Tony Khan-led promotion's talent over time, including top names like Hangman Page, Swerve Strickland, Jon Moxley, Toni Storm, and Kris Statlander, to name only a few. After generating three years of amusing content, "the Final Episode" of the acclaimed series was uploaded on the company's YouTube channel around twelve hours earlier.

Among the many hilarious bits and jokes RJ presented in the episode was one segment involving one of his former guests, Eddie Kingston, where the 37-year-old personality attempts to change up The Mad King's usual entrance routine and offers him outlandishly comedic advice to follow instead. The star was seemingly parodying WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, who is often featured on online content in which he is seen producing and rehearsing his talents' entrances alongside them.

RJ City brutally ambushed by a fellow AEW interviewer

Towards the end of the Final Episode of Hey!(EW), RJ City was in the middle of putting a bow on his show with a musical performance. However, his routine was shockingly interrupted by RJ's colleague, AEW interviewer Renee Paquette, who launched a surprise attack on RJ, knocking him down and kicking him multiple times, before asking him in explicit terms to shut up.

While RJ recovered on the floor, Tony Khan himself arrived to deliver a taunt about the host never receiving an All Elite graphic. The episode's closing moments also featured an unexpected appearance from Mercedes Mone.
