The duo is one of eight tag teams entered in the tournament to crown the inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions. They will be facing heavy competition throughout this tournament. Their opening contest will be against people they are all too familiar with, the newly formed duo of Alex Windsor and Riho.

Earlier tonight on Collision, AEW put the spotlight on Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa as they aired a brief video package about the duo heading into the tournament. It has been confirmed that they will be known as the Timeless Love Bombs. This is a follow-up to Mina revealing the nickname a few weeks ago.

Both women are looking to bounce back from losing their titles, and they looked unfazed amidst the level of competition this tournament will bring.

One tournament match has already taken place, with the Sisters of Sin defeating Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata to advance. The other two opening contests will feature TayJay taking on Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir, who is filling in for Penelope Ford, and the unlikely duo of Mercedes Moné and Athena taking on Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron.

This looks to be an interesting tournament, and it remains to be seen how Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa will fare.
