A former WWE superstar has been making waves on AEW Dynamite since making his return. Now, he is set to appear on Collision following an extended period. The aforementioned star, who is a former World Champion, is Swerve Strickland. The Mogul has been out of action due to a torn meniscus for months. He made his thunderous return to the Jacksonville-based promotion at the end of the 2025 Full Gear pay-per-view to aid Hangman Adam Page against Samoa Joe and The Opps, including HOOK, who turned heel and rejoined the faction. Since his return, Strickland has been seen with The Millennial Cowboy, most recently at the latest edition of Dynamite, as they continue their feud with Joe and The Opps. AEW took to their X to announce that he will appear on the upcoming December 6 edition of Collision taking place in Columbus, Ohio. “Saturday Night #AEWCollision 8/7c, TNT + HBO Max Tomorrow, 12/6! @SwerveConfident LIVE at Collision! The last time we saw Strickland, he was standing side by side with Hangman Adam Page against The Opps! We'll hear from Swerve, TOMORROW!” AEW star Swerve Strickland on resigning with Tony Khan’s company Swerve Strickland was released from WWE in 2021 and joined All Elite Wrestling in 2022. He went on to ascend to the main event and become a top star in 2024. When asked about re-signing with the promotion, he revealed that he had gained Tony Khan’s trust and built a strong bond with the AEW President. “Everything. Me and Tony Khan were bonding as well. I didn’t get that trust yet from him, and once I finally did, not only just to trust to do what I want on TV. I think people think it’s like, oh, just do what you want on TV. It’s like, No, it’s not like that. It’s trust to be like, I need something done on TV that will work. You’re the guy to do it. That’s a different trust." With Strickland back in the fold following a brief hiatus, it will be interesting to see his resurgence in the All Elite Wrestling promotion.
