Andrade returned to the Jacksonville-based promotion in October. However, his comeback was also his last appearance on AEW programming, as it later emerged that El Idolo had violated WWE's non-compete policy by returning to Tony Khan's promotion before the legally mandated time period.

While Andrade deals with the legal situation at hand, All Elite Wrestling surprised the wrestling world by uploading a match between the Mexican and former AEW star, Cody Rhodes, on their official YouTube channel.

The bout in question was an Atlanta Street Fight that aired on an episode of Dynamite in December 2021, and Cody Rhodes won it after putting El Idolo through a flaming table.

Cody Rhodes recently expressed his love for working with AEW personality Jake Roberts.

Back when Cody Rhodes was part of AEW, he had a popular in-ring segment with WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts, and they went back and forth on the mic.

In a recent appearance on the All The Smoke podcast, The American Nightmare reflected on his time working with Jake "The Snake" Roberts and revealed how he learnt an essential part of the craft from the legend.

"I tell you one that I learned a lot from very short amount of time, Jake Robert, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts... I learned a great deal of work from him, I don't share that with him enough, coz it was just that one night that we had this interview and I just got a masterclass and had I not had feet planted in the ground, this guy would have just eat me up and moved on, but he was one I thought was very special," said Rhodes.

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes is recovering from a tough loss at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025. It'll be interesting to see what happens next for the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion.
