John Cena's WWE retirement match is set to take place in under three weeks at Saturday Night's Main Event. There will be an AEW show the same day, but this has just been rescheduled to avoid a head-to-head clash.

On December 13th, the 17-time world champion will be competing in his retirement match against the winner of the Last Time is Now Tournament. As of now, this has not been decided as the competition is still ongoing. As of now, there are only two more matches scheduled for Cena before he retires, with the second being his bout with Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series: WarGames this weekend.

AEW Collision usually airs on Saturday nights, and at times goes head-to-head with WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event shows. The Jacksonville-based promotion sometimes opts to reschedule this to avoid a collision course. The same can be said for the December 13th show in Cardiff. This has been rescheduled to 4:30 ET, as indicated on Warner Bros. Discovery's December schedule.

Who could be John Cena's final opponent?

WWE is currently holding the Last Time is Now Tournament to determine which individual will earn an opportunity of a lifetime, and get to retire John Cena. This has featured both figures from the past, some current top names, and other up-and-coming talent that Cena has yet to share the ring with.

Last week on SmackDown, the company revealed the full bracket for the tournament. Only eight names are still in contention, and this includes Jey Uso, Rusev, LA Knight, Penta, Solo Sikoa, Gunther, and Carmelo Hayes. The last name is still a mystery, as Sheamus, who originally had this slot, has pulled out of the tournament due to injury.

It is unclear whether the 8th name will be an entirely new entrant or an eliminated name being given a second chance.

Things are ramping up heading into John Cena's retirement match. But for now, fans can catch him next weekend as he'll be defending his Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series: WarGames.
