Absent AEW star reacts after Becky Lynch surprisingly loses her title on WWE RAW

A currently absent AEW star reacted to Becky Lynch losing her title to a popular star on WWE RAW this past Monday. Becky lost her title due to a returning star.

The absent AEW star Deonna Purrazzo reacted to Becky Lynch losing the women's Intercontinental title on WWE RAW. Deonna has not been on TV since her last match on Dynamite in February. She has been performing in Tony Khan-owned Ring of Honor during her time away. The Virtuosa is quite active on social media as well.

This past Monday on RAW, Becky lost her women's IC title to Maxxine Dupri due to an interference by a returning AJ Lee. Following Maxxine's incredible title win, the AEW star Deonna Purrazzo reacted with a heartfelt message on the X social media platform. Deonna wrote the following for Maxinne's win:

Tony Khan on former WWE star's potential AEW return

Amid his lengthy absence from TV, Tony Khan was asked about the former WWE star, Deonna Purrazzo's status in AEW. In an interview with Sports Illustrated back in August, Khan said that The Virtuosa will be slotted back in when the right thing comes up:

“I think Deonna is an excellent wrestler, and she’s gonna be in the Pure Championship Tournament. I really want to get Deonna going again. I say these things because I think she’s a really good talent and person. I think she brings a lot of positive things, and I really want to stress, if one thing doesn’t go perfectly, it’s okay to take some time, and we’ll reevaluate when the right thing comes up, and we’ll slot you back in," Tony stated.

Meanwhile, it's been nearly 9 months since Deonna Purrazzo has been on TV. Only time will tell when she will be back.
