A former WWE champion has been absent from AEW TV for the past couple of months. He has teased making his return.Buddy Matthews joined the AEW roster in 2022. It even looked like the former WWE star was on his way to a major singles push this year. He even challenged Kazuchika Okada for the International Championship at AEW Grand Slam Australia this year. However, Buddy injured himself during his entrance. Despite completing the match, Matthews was sidelined after this and has not been seen on TV for the past couple of months.A fan recently posted clips on social media showcasing highlights from Buddy Matthews' ladder match against Andrade, which took place on the 29th July 2023 episode of Collision.
