John Cena is arguably one of the most accomplished stars in the world of professional wrestling. His influence on the wrestling world is undeniable, and stars from other promotions also never miss a chance to praise him. A 26-year-old AEW star recently stated that he studies the promo work of The Last Real Champion. The star is none other than reigning TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher.
Kyle Fletcher is set to face "Hangman" Adam Page at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view for the AEW World Championship. The 26-year-old has been dominating the company's roster as one of its most devious heels as part of The Don Callis Family.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio recently, Fletcher opened up about taking inspiration from John Cena and another legendary WWE Superstar in the form of The Miz when it comes to honing his microphone skills.
"Guys [whom] I look at, even still, when it comes to promos, every time I watch [John] Cena and one of his promos, I'm left with the feeling of, 'This dude is the greatest on the microphone that I've ever witnessed.' I have that feeling, and that's something that I strive to achieve: that level on the mic. The Miz was one of my guys growing up. That's another one I still listen to and watch and go, 'He's so good on the mic!'" he said. [H/T: ITR Wrestling]
