A former WWE star discussed the possibility of going back to AEW after half a decade. Gigi Dolin was one of the top prospects in NXT. She, Mandy Rose, and Jacy Jayne, collectively known as Toxic Attraction, dominated the women's division for a long time. Unfortunately, she was released from the global sports entertainment juggernaut in May 2025.

Following the former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion's WWE exit, she has been a major attraction on the independent circuit, wrestling for promotions such as MLW, GCW, and TNA. A few years ago, in 2019, before she was signed to WWE, she participated in a battle royal for AEW's All Out pay-per-view.

While speaking with Denise Salcedo, Gigi Dolin shared that she might go to AEW, as she has left so much more to explore in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

“But I think going into — coming out of this year and going into 2026 — I think I, I don’t know. I think I’d really like to maybe go to AEW. I think there’s, I think there’s a lot of stuff that was left on the table. I did some stuff for AEW before I got signed to WWE and I don’t know, I just always felt like there was something left on the table over there and I never got to really have my time," she said. Gigi Dolin opens up about her struggles during her WWE run

The former NXT Women's World Champion had gone through a lot to get to the global sports entertainment juggernaut. Unfortunately, she was still struggling mentally despite being at the top.

While speaking with Denise Salcedo, Gigi Dolin revealed that she was suffering from depression during her NXT stint.

"Somewhere toward that last year of being with Toxic Attraction, I went through, like, a really bad depression for various reasons behind the scenes, but I went through a really bad mental state where, like, I wasn’t myself anymore. I didn’t feel like myself. I felt lost. I felt very stagnant. And you know, I put on weight, and I stopped caring about how I looked in the ring because I was so depressed," she said.

It will be interesting to see if Gigi becomes All Elite in the coming months.
