AEW star Jon Moxley might leave his throne on the Death Riders for a former WWE United States Champion. Claudio Castagnoli did the unthinkable and defeated the Puveyor of Violence on the recent edition of Dynamite. The two faced off in the Continental Classic tournament. The Swiss Superman dominated most of the match.Immediately after the match, Bryan Danielson, who was teammates with both Claudio and Jon, pointed out that Moxley was the leader as he was stronger than every member of the group. In the past, the One True King has stood tall over PAC and Wheeler Yuta. However, in their first-ever AEW encounter, Claudio picked up a win against the Death Riders leader.Jon Moxley has been an intuitive person and might know when to pass the torch, as he actually cares about the business. He could consider promoting Claudio Castagnoli to the leadership role. Further, the former AEW World Champion could go on to leave the faction.Jon Moxley was happy to see Claudio Castagnoli winAfter their classic match, the One True King was seen working out with the rest of the Death Riders. Claudio too joined them. While many fans feared things might turn bitter between the two, the duo was great. While speaking about the match, Jon Moxley said he was happy Claudio won. He even said that the entire Death Riders will win if any one member of the faction wins the tournament."I'd be pi**ed at you if you came at me at anything less. I'm happy, if you're happy, I'm happy. Claudio wins the Continental Classic, we all win, Pac wins the Continental Classic, we all win. [Claudio: 'Mox wins the continental classic, we all win.'] I'm trying to outrun who I was yesterday. Tomorrow, I'll be trying to outrun who I am today. That's what we're about, that's what we do, that's all we do," he said.It remains to be seen if someone among the Death Riders wins the Continental Classic this year.
