A former WWE Superstar could capture the AEW World Championship from Hangman Page with the help of two popular stars. Hangman is slated to defend his world title at the Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view.At Full Gear 2025 on November 22, Hangman Page will defend his AEW World title against the former WWE United States Champion, Samoa Joe. Joe failed to capture the world title at WrestleDream 2025 and turned heel by attacking Hangman after the match. Nevertheless, the two top stars, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata could help Joe win the title.Hobbs and Shibata are Samoa Joe's partners in The Opps, and both of them turned heel along with Joe at WrestleDream. The current AEW World Trios Champions have been a unit for the past several months, and they are even more dangerous as heels.At Full Gear, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata could interfere during the world title match and make it harder for Hangman Page to retain his title. The two could eventually help The Samoan Submission Machine in capturing the AEW World title from Hangman.It will be the second time Samoa Joe becomes the AEW World Champion during his run.
