#4. Jim Ross returning to AEW next month
Legendary wrestling commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has provided a new update regarding his AEW status. Ross, who has been dealing with health issues for much of the year, has been away from weekly programming. He last appeared at Forbidden Door 2025 in August. JR was initially anticipated to return at Full Gear 2025, but he did not make an appearance during the pay-per-view.

#3. Bret Hart says he doesn't know MJF
A surprising moment took place during WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart’s recent appearance on the Johnny | Pro Show, where the veteran made an unexpected remark when an audience member mentioned AEW star MJF. Hart and Friedman previously had a brief but memorable interaction at Double or Nothing 2019, when “The Hitman” introduced the AEW World Championship. During that segment, MJF confronted Hart, creating a moment that is still well-known among fans.
However, when a fan shouted Maxwell’s name during the live show, Hart appeared confused and questioned who the fan was referring to.
“Who? MJF? Who is that? — Just curious though, who is it? — AEW wrestler? — As you can tell, I don’t watch a lot anymore," he said. [H/T - Ringside News]

#2. Death Riders members hint at Jon Moxley being kicked out of the group
Speculation about Jon Moxley’s leadership within The Death Riders has grown following his loss at Full Gear 2025. The Purveyor of Violence suffered his second consecutive defeat to Kyle O’Reilly this month, tapping out once again in their No Holds Barred match. After the match, Moxley returned to the ring and attacked O’Reilly, focusing on his arm to cause more damage. The crowd’s reaction seemed to upset Moxley even more, leading to a chaotic post-match brawl.
Later, during a backstage interview, Moxley addressed the result but seemed to offer excuses, stating that while he lost the battle, he planned to win the war. The rest of The Death Riders stood behind him throughout the interview, but their expressions raised eyebrows. Their body language suggested a lack of confidence in Moxley, implying that they had lost faith in their leader.
#1. Tony Khan confirms Kyle Fletcher is injured
Tony Khan provided some heartbreaking news after Full Gear 2025, confirming that Kyle O' Reilly suffered a major injury during the pay-per-view. The violent Weapon faced Mark Briscoe in a brutal No-Holds-Barred Match, which ended with O'Reilly making the One True King submit.
During the Full Gear Post-Show Media Scrum, Khan revealed that O' Reilly has sustained an undisclosed injury, noting that it's unfortunate because he wanted to wrestle in the upcoming Continental Classic tournament.
"Kyle O’Reilly will probably be out of action and it’s unfortunate because Kyle did want to wrestle in the Continental Classic he was really excited about it… I think Kyle’s probably not going to be cleared and will probably have to deal with some injuries coming out of what was an incredible no-holds-barred match." said Khan [H/T: POST Wrestling]
As of right now, there is no timeline for Kyle's return to All Elite Wrestling.
