#4. Buddy Matthews references WWE's The Vision

Buddy Matthews caught attention online after subtly referencing WWE’s The Vision shortly after their victory at Survivor Series: WarGames 2025. The group alongside Drew Mcyntire and Brock Lesnar secured a major win inside the double cage this Saturday at the pay-per-view against the team of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and The Usos.

Meanwhile, Buddy Matthews has been away from AEW since February, after suffering an ankle injury during his entrance for a match against Kazuchika Okada at AEW Grand Slam, which ultimately required surgery. In his latest Instagram reel, Matthews shared footage of himself performing a workout routine and wrote:

#3. Scorpio Sky is reportedly set to return to AEW soon

A new report has provided clarity regarding the injury status of former two-time AEW TNT Champion, Scorpio Sky. Sky was involved in a trios match on the November 19 episode of Dynamite alongside Darius and Dante Martin in a bout against The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander. During the match, Sky appeared to hurt his elbow, raising concern among fans and commentators. Despite the visible discomfort, the match continued, and Sky managed to finish the contest.

Early news had indicated a long hiatus for the star. However, recent reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggest the injury is not as severe as initially feared. Sky’s elbow issue is reportedly minor, and sources state that he is expected to return to Dynamite sooner rather than later.

#2. Tony Khan officially announces Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir's tag team name

Tony Khan has officially revealed the new name for Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne's tag team, which is competing in the Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament. The tournament has been progressing toward its climax, with one finalist already determined and the other to be decided shortly. Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, collectively known as The Babes of Wrath, have already secured their spot in the tournament finals.

The second finalist will be decided in a semifinal match featuring Timeless Love Bombs, that is, “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa, against the team of Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir. Before the match, Tony Khan announced on X the new team name for Bayne and Shafir. Khan officially called them "MegaProblems", combining Bayne’s nickname, The Megasus, and Shafir’s moniker, The Problem.

#1. Fans hurl beer cups at the Death Riders outside AEW

Members of The Death Riders were involved in a serious incident following a match outside the Jacksonville-based promotion. The group recently competed in Arena Coliseo for a major AEW partner promotion. Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia represented The Death Riders in the trios contest, facing Difunto, Esfinge, and Último Guerrero.

The Riders secured a victory, but the post-match environment quickly turned hostile. Footage circulating online shows members of the crowd hurling beer cups and verbal abuse toward the group as they exited, creating an emphatically hostile atmosphere.

Meanwhile, in Tony Khan's promotion, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC each earned three points in their 2025 Continental Classic (C2) campaigns. Moxley and Castagnoli, who both achieved Blue League wins on the Dynamite: Thanksgiving Eve edition, are set to face each other in an upcoming Blue League match on Dynamite this Wednesday.
