#4. Mina Shirakawa busted during the Blood and Guts match; she received immediate medical attention after

Last night's Dynamite: Blood and Guts event was one of the most brutal shows in company history and marked the debut of the first-ever Women’s Blood and Guts match. The contest featured Mina Shirakawa, Jamie Hayter, Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron, and Toni Storm battling against the faction the Triangle of Madness, alongside Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, and Mercedes Mone.

The match ended brutally when Mina Shirakawa, the last remaining competitor for her team, found herself trapped in a chokehold by Shafir. At the same time, Megan Bayne repeatedly hit her with the TBS Championship belt. Unable to watch her teammate take more punishment, Toni Storm surrendered to end the match, giving Triangle of Madness the win. Afterward, fans on social media shared photos of Shirakawa with her head split open and bloodied. She was reportedly treated by AEW’s medical staff right after the match, with Toni Storm tagging along backstage.

#3. Ric Flair's absence from last night's Dynamite causes concern

Concerns have been raised about Ric Flair after the wrestling legend didn't show up at the AEW Dynamite: Blood and Guts special in Greensboro, North Carolina, last night. The Nature Boy, who was announced to make a special appearance with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat, had promoted his return to All Elite Wrestling just days before the event. However, when the time came, Flair was nowhere to be found.

Only Steamboat appeared on the show and was interviewed by Tony Schiavone before being interrupted and attacked by FTR. The assault was eventually stopped when Brodido, FTR’s upcoming opponent at Full Gear, came to Steamboat’s aid. Flair’s absence, meanwhile, became the main talking point, especially given the build-up to his return. Amid AEW's failure to address the situation so far, speculation continues about whether Flair's absence was due to health issues, travel delays, or last-minute creative changes.

There has been a big development regarding MJF, who has been absent from All Elite Wrestling programming for several months. The Wolf of Wrestling's last matches took place in September, where he suffered back-to-back defeats, first losing the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship to Mistico and later being defeated by Mark Briscoe at All Out. After those losses, MJF admitted in a post-show promo that he needed time away to “look in the mirror and not see a fraud.”

According to Fightful Select, the production of the action-comedy film “Violent Night 2,” which Salt of the Earth has been filming in his absence, is nearly finished. Sources close to the situation reportedly told the outlet that MJF’s return could happen sooner rather than later with the creative team already integrating him into storylines planned for December.

Snoop Dogg recently celebrated the success of his cousin, Mercedes Mone, after the CEO earned a historic professional milestone. The reigning TBS champion was officially ranked No. 1 on this year’s Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) Women’s 250 list.

The hip-hop icon shared a proud message for his cousin via Instagram, posting a clip of Mercedes performing her signature CEO dance and writing:

"Get em cuzzo 👊🏿✅ @mercedesmone"

Mercedes responded to the post with a heart emoji. Meanwhile, the CEO, who competed in AEW’s first-ever women’s Blood and Guts match last night, where her team emerged victorious, is set to challenge Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear 2025 on November 22.
