#4 Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat set to return to AEW at Dynamite: Blood and Guts 2025

AEW has officially confirmed the return of Ric Flair and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat to the promotion. The two WWE Hall of Famers are set to appear at next week’s special edition of Dynamite, which will host this year’s Blood and Guts event in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Nature Boy and "The Dragon" last appeared for Sting’s retirement match at Revolution 2024, where Steamboat served as the special timekeeper.

This year’s Blood and Guts will be notable for another reason, which is that it will feature both a men’s and a women’s edition of the match for the first time.

#3. Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize reportedly walked out of AEW Collision; refused to job for TayJay

In a shocking turn of events, reports have surfaced that former WWE star Nixon Newell (fka Tegan Nox) and her tag team partner Miranda Alize walked out of the most recent Collision tapings. The incident reportedly occurred an hour before the bell time.

Newell and Alize had made their debuts on the October 25 episode of Collision, confronting Tay Melo and Anna Jay backstage. The duo made their in-ring debut on the Fright Night Collision special on November 1, where Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne defeated them. They were later booked to compete in a tag team match against TayJay (Melo and Jay) on the November 8 episode. However, a report from PWInsider claimed that both Newell and Alize refused to participate in the match as they didn't want to lose, especially after already suffering a loss in their debut match.

#2. Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize reportedly wanted more time on AEW Collision

A follow-up report has now surfaced offering a different perspective on the Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize walkout incident. According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, the duo’s decision to leave Collision was not necessarily due to their refusal to lose their match against TayJay, but rather due to a supposed disagreement over match time allocation.

Sapp reported that Newell and Alize requested additional time, but it was seemingly denied. The report also mentioned that there will soon be more updates around their short stint in All Elite Wrestling. It remains to be seen whether they will return to television in the coming weeks or if their time in Tony Khan's promotion has already come to an end.

#1. Ricochet responds to "too many titles" critique on AEW and WWE

Ricochet has weighed in on an ongoing debate among fans regarding the number of championships across WWE and AEW. The conversation began on X when a fan posted that both companies have “way too many titles.” Ricochet disagreed with the comment, stating that the abundance of championships in both promotions is justified given their large and talented rosters.

"I disagree with this. BOTH companies have such a DEEP roster, having multiple titles to fight for, I feel, is a good thing," Ricochet wrote.

Interestingly, his remarks come as Tony Khan recently announced the AEW National Championship. The new secondary title will be awarded to the winner of the Casino Gauntlet Match at Full Gear 2025.
