Steel made her debut on this week's episode of ROH TV, where she immediately called out Leila Grey. Grey accepted the challenge but warned Steel that she won’t be as nice once they meet in the ring. The match has not yet been given an official date.

It is also worth noting that while Steel is linked to ROH and Tony Khan’s network of promotions, there has been no confirmation that she has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling.

#3. Chris Jericho says he will wrestle "somewhere" in 2026

Chris Jericho has addressed ongoing rumors about a possible WWE return while discussing what comes next in his career. The Nueve has not wrestled since his loss to Bandido at AEW Dynasty 2025 in April. During a recent appearance on The Tim Weisberg Show, Jericho clarified that he is "not done yet" with wrestling.

“Well, you never know, man. That’s the thing is — I’m not done yet. So, still figuring out everything and we’ll see where I end up. But I’m pretty sure you’ll see me in 2026 in a wrestling ring somewhere," he said. [H/T: F4WOnline]

Jericho was the first AEW World Champion and is credited with putting the company on the map. It will be interesting if he signs a new deal with Tony Khan's promotion after his contract expires this month.

#2. Paul Wight says he won't return to the ring unless he can stay physically prepared.

Paul Wight recently opened up about whether he is considering retirement. The former WWE star has not wrestled since November 2023, when he took part in a Street Fight, but he has continued to appear sporadically on AEW programming. His extended in-ring absence has led many fans to question whether his wrestling career may be nearing its end.

Speaking at Notsam Wrestling Live, Wight made clear that he does not want to return to the ring unless he can perform at a high level.

“The last thing I’m gonna do is go out in that ring and have people go, ‘aww, poor Paul. They should just kill him, like Old Yeller or something.’ We’re not gonna have that. If I’m not out there humping and bumping and getting after everything and slapping people’s souls out of their chest… then it’s time to hang up the boots,” said Wight [H/T RSN]

#1. Adam Copeland seen in a photo via Beekeeper 2 production team amid AEW absence.

A rare public photo of Adam Copeland has surfaced during his ongoing hiatus from AEW. The Rated R Superstar has been off-screen since All Out: Toronto in September, where he was written out of storylines to deal with his family situation after FTR attacked Beth Phoenix. In reality, Cope has been working on multiple film projects.

Director Timo Tjahjanto, who is overseeing production for The Beekeeper 2, shared a photo with Copeland on X. Copeland is featured in the upcoming Hollywood film alongside Jason Statham.

"A living legend , a real superhuman strength type guy and an all around sweetest human being. #Edge" Tjahjanto posted.

Now, with FTR currently the AEW World Tag Team Champions, fans can expect Cope and Christian Cage to return soon to pursue unfinished business with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
