Andrade has apparently left a major show outside AEW. Meanwhile, an ex-WWE talent will reportedly never be booked again in Tony Khan's promotion, and Chris Jericho has dropped another major tease amid WWE return rumors. All this and more as we cover the headline-worthy news stories coming out of All Elite Wrestling today. So let's dive right in.

#4. AEW hints at Adam Copeland's return

AEW has seemingly dropped a massive hint about the return of Adam Copeland (fka Edge). Cope has been on hiatus from the Jacksonville-based promotion for nearly two months. The Rated-R Superstar last appeared at All Out, where he teamed up with Christian Cage to defeat FTR. During the match, Cope's wife, Beth Phoenix, made her debut to assist her husband, only to be ambushed by FTR later. Following the event, Copeland told fans that he needed to take care of his family, which led to his absence from programming.

Recently, All Elite Wrestling reignited speculation about Cope’s comeback by posting a promotional clip on X that advertised his new action figure. The clip featured Colt Cabana showing off the product. While it looked like standard marketing, the post attracted attention because the promotion had mostly avoided mentioning the former TNT champion on social media in recent weeks.

#3. Andrade reportedly walked out of a major show outside AEW

It has been reported that Andrade has walked out of a major wrestling show in Mexico amid an unexplained absence from AEW. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, El Idolo was advertised as one of the top stars at The Crash event, but left the venue before his scheduled appearance.

Meltzer noted that Andrade was at the show, signing autographs and interacting with fans, but ultimately departed because he was unhappy with certain aspects of the event.

"Andrade was on the show [The Crash], probably the main attraction on the show. He was there signing autographs and then he left. The only thing that we heard was that he was unhappy. His non-compete is only United States so he can work in Tijuana, he can work Mexico City," Meltzer noted. [H/T Cultaholic]

#2. Chris Jericho likes a fan comment linking him to WrestleMania return

Chris Jericho has once again fueled speculation about his future in wrestling after dropping a major tease that points toward a potential return to WWE. The former AEW World Champion has been absent from programming since April, but his recent online activity has reignited speculation about where he might appear next.

On his 55th birthday a few days ago, Jericho posted a new photo of himself on Instagram showcasing his physique and later liked a fan’s comment that read, “WrestleMania baby.” This seemingly casual interaction has been widely interpreted as a tease of a WWE return, particularly as WrestleMania season approaches.

#1. Nixon Newell will reportedly never be booked in AEW again

Reports suggest that Nixon Newell (fka Tegan Nox) and her partner Miranda Alize are unlikely to be booked by AEW again following their walkout during the taping of last Saturday's Collision. The two had only recently debuted with the promotion, but their stint appears to have ended prematurely.

Newell and Alize's in-ring debut in All Elite Wrestling took place on the November 1 episode of Collision, where they lost their debut match against Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne. They were scheduled for a bout the following week against Tay Melo and Anna Jay (TayJay), but both reportedly left the venue before the show began. Early reports suggested that the pair refused to lose their match, although later clarification revealed that the issue was actually about the length of the match, rather than the outcome.

According to Dave Meltzer, who spoke on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, it is doubtful that either performer will be booked by AEW again following the incident.

“All I know is, I don’t expect these two to be booked in AEW, said Meltzer ” [H/T - ITR Wrestling]

It will be interesting to see whether the reports turn out to be true or if there is a future for Newell and Alize in Tony Khan's promotion.
