(EW) was canceledAEW personality RJ City has revealed the reason behind the cancellation of his long-running YouTube series, Hey! (Ew). The show, which became a fan-favorite for its comedic interviews and improvisational format, released its final episode after four years on the promotion's YouTube channel. While the end of the series was initially announced on social media, City later provided further explanation of how the cancellation came about in the final episode, which aired last Sunday.According to City, Tony Khan pulled the plug after discovering that he had been funding the show directly. City stated that Khan initially believed the project was being run through a Warner Bros. Discovery college-credit internship, only to later learn that Hey! (Ew) was financially supported through the All Elite Wrestling budget. “Welcome to Hey! (EW). I am RJ City, and my guest is nobody, because this is the final episode. Why? Multiple reasons. One, once Tony Khan found out he was actually paying for the show and it was not a WBD college-credited internship like I initially claimed, he pulled the plug faster than you could say Rampage. I guess a sign and two mugs is too much for the budget." [H/T Fightful ]#3.
