#2. WWE drops bombshell Jon Moxley reference

In around a week, WWE will present the 2025 edition of its iconic premium live event, Survivor Series: WarGames. The show is set to feature a star-studded Men's WarGames bout, pitting The Vision, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar against the team of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, The Usos, and Roman Reigns.

Ahead of the event, the Stamford-based company's YouTube channel posted a compilation of The Tribal Chief's most notable Survivor Series moments. To viewers' surprise, the video offered multiple glimpses at Reigns' former stablemate, AEW's Jon Moxley.

While The Visionary is currently out of commission due to injury, Moxley is poised to battle Kyle O'Reilly of The Conglomeration in a No Holds Barred Match at Full Gear 2025 - a bout stemming from the leader of The Death Riders tapping out to The Violent Artist during AEW Dynamite: Blood and Guts.

#3. AEW's Kenny Omega on Andrade's contract situation

This past October, on the Six-Year Anniversary episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite, Andrade returned to All Elite Wrestling by blindsiding Kenny Omega and joining The Don Callis Family.

El Idolo disappeared from the company's programming soon afterward. It was subsequently revealed that this was owing to WWE sending AEW a cease and desist letter over using Andrade, as the latter had a year-long non-compete clause imposed on him by the sports entertainment juggernaut, supposedly due to being fired with cause.

During a recent interview with Shakiel Mahjouri, Kenny Omega shared his thoughts on the former La Sombra's brief All Elite Wrestling return. The Cleaner claimed that he was happy to see El Idolo in the promotion and voiced his view that Andrade will be amply motivated to perform for the company when he is able to come back.

"To see him back in AEW was a happy moment for me because I felt that he really wanted to be there and do well. So now that he’s been sidelined for a little bit, I can imagine that when he comes back, he’ll still have the same amount of motivation. I think everything will be alright." [H/T: WrestlePurists]

With recent rumors claiming that the former NXT Champion's non-compete is applicable worldwide, it remains to be seen when Andrade El Idolo will appear on All Elite Wrestling television next.

#4. Anthony Bowens' message to AEW CEO Tony Khan

All Elite Wrestling will be hosting the 2025 edition of Full Gear on Saturday in Newark, NJ. Ahead of the pay-per-view, the promotion will be hosting a pre-show, Saturday Tailgate Brawl. It will present, among other matches, a four-way tag bout with $200K on the line, pitting the team of Big Bill and Bryan Keith against The Outrunners, the Bang Bang Gang's Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn, and the duo of Anthony Bowens and Max Caster.

Despite not wanting to have anything to do with each other, The Pride of Pro Wrestling and The Best Wrestler Alive have been forced to team up on multiple occasions over the past few weeks. They will be compelled to work together again on Saturday.

Before the bout, Bowens made an offer to AEW head honcho Tony Khan, requesting him to cancel the four-way tag match and award the entirety of the cash prize to him, in exchange for which he promised to donate half of the money to develop the EverBank Stadium, the home facility of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"Ok Tony, I will make you a deal. Cancel this match tomorrow so I don’t have to tag with the worst wrestler alive, award me the $200,000 as a thank you for the house, and then I will DONATE HALF of the match earnings to the EverBank Stadium’s stadium of the future project. What do you think? ✌🏽," Bowens wrote.
