Jon Moxley's world continues to spiral out of control, as this past weekend at AEW Full Gear, he was submitted by his opponent once again. Although The One True King tried his best to present a strong front after the pay-per-view, his loss has once again signaled the likelihood of his soldiers, the Death Riders, kicking him out and installing a new leader, Claudio Castagnoli, in his place. Such an angle could take place this week on Dynamite.

Earlier this month, the alliance of Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, and The Conglomeration took on the Death Riders in the 2025 Men's Blood and Guts Match. The bout ended in shocking fashion, as Kyle O'Reilly forced Jon Moxley to surrender on behalf of his team, forcing him to tap out to an ankle lock. Afterwards, The Violent Artist challenged The Purveyor of Violence to a rematch, which the latter accepted, claiming that he was open to any stipulation.

In response, O'Reilly invited Moxley to face him at AEW Full Gear in a No Holds Barred match. The two stars battled it out in an extremely violent encounter this Saturday at the pay-per-view, and once again, it was O'Reilly who emerged victorious by submitting Moxley. The former World Champion did not seem to be coping well with the loss, as he attacked The Conglomeration member after the bout, and later, backstage, delivered a rambling promo that did not seem to impress his crew. All the signs seemingly point to Moxley's imminent ejection from the group.

Such an angle could unfold this week on AEW Dynamite, where the Death Riders might finally turn on and kick out Moxley, electing in his place a new "King" in the form of eight-time WWE champion Claudio Castagnoli, his former "Emissary of Violence." The Swiss Cyborg could be the first to pull the trigger on Moxley like he did with Bryan Danielson last year, and potentially even write him off for some time by destroying his neck with his signature steel-chair-enforced stomp.
