Mercedes Moné is one of the biggest stars in All Elite Wrestling right now. She has been reigning as the TBS Champion since May 2024. She has been on a legendary run as the belt collector by winning Championships across the globe. However, her downfall may just have started now as she lost the ROH Women's World Television title at the company's Final Battle event.

Mercedes Moné has been booked very strongly ever since she joined AEW last year. She has rarely lost a match she was competing in and has won several Championships in the last year. Even in the matches that she lost, Moné was the challenger not the champion.

However at the Ring Of Honor Final Battle 2025 event, Moné failed to defend her ROH Women's World Television Championship against Red Velvet. This marked the first title Moné has lost ever since she started this belt collector run. This could lead to her losing the rest of her titles very soon.

After losing her Ring of Honor Women's World Television Championship to Red Velvet, Moné was interviewed backstage. During the interview she looked very worried and could not comprehend what had happened earlier in the night.

She was later challenged by Leila Grey to a match for the TBS Championship on Collision. The match was made official by Tony Khan and now the two are set to collide for the TBS title on Saturday. Moné could lose another title in the next 24 hours taking a step further towards her character's downfall.

#2. Losing 10+ belts will be huge

All dominant title reigns eventually come to an end. Moné losing her ROH Women's World Television title could actually be the first of the many title losses she will have to go through in the coming months. Moné could actually end up losing all of her Championships in the next few weeks.

Mercedes Moné has been booked very dominantly ever since she joined AEW. If she does end up losing the 12 Championships she currently has, it'll hurt her momentum very badly. This would be a huge downgrade to her CEO character and she might actually end up dropping the CEO gimmick.

Despite working for All Elite Wrestling, Mercedes Moné has still maintained her friendship with Bayley over the past years. Bayley's contract with WWE is set to expire next year and there has been no news of her resigning with the Stamford-based promotion.
