The Jacksonville-based promotion AEW has consistently delivered high-quality, action-packed pay-per-views over the last few months. They are now heading towards their next major event, Full Gear, which is set to take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The signature AEW event will feature top stars like Mercedes Mone, Kris Statlander, Hangman Adam Page, and other attractions. The company president and CEO, Tony Khan, can build major headlines for the event, not only with an exceptional match card but also with shockers like bringing former names from rival promotions, WWE, to his roster.

#4. Dakota Kai could become a part of AEW

One of the fan-favorite names in WWE who experienced huge popularity was Dakota Kai. Despite facing setbacks and injuries repeatedly, Kai faced it all like a true warrior and came back stronger, garnering her a lot of attention from fans.

Moreover, she even came close to becoming the first-ever WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion. However, Triple H and his creative regime chose to release her; however, this could be Tony Khan's opportunity to sign her and possibly reunite Kai with her old WWE partner, Nixon Newell, who recently debuted for All Elite Wrestling.

#3. Karrion Kross

Like Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross was another remarkable talent who experienced a significant resurgence at the start of 2025. From his captivating antics to rising popularity among fans, Kross could have been their next breakout star. However, the former NXT Champion chose to leave the promotion after his defeat at the hands of Sami Zayn at WWE SummerSlam 2025.

While he has been making waves on the independent circuit lately, Kross's debut for AEW at Full Gear could be a huge shocker and be a major addition to their roster.

#2. Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander became a formidable name in TNA Wrestling after leaving WWE in 2025, following the end of his nine-year tenure. Despite having a significant singles run so far, the fans have been rallying to see Alexander sign with AEW and join The Hurt Syndicate to reunite with his former faction members, MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin.

Moreover, Alexander's contract is approaching expiry. Tony Khan could utilize this opportunity to sign and have him debut at Full Gear 2025, possibly after a match involving The Hurt Syndicate.

#1. Braun Strowman

One of the biggest attractions among free agents in the wrestling world is Braun Strowman. The former WWE Universal Champion returned to WWE in 2022; however, he was not a part of any significant storylines despite having the caliber of a marquee attraction and being a former World Champion. He was released again by WWE this year and has largely stayed away from wrestling since then, stating that he had taken a break.

However, a huge offer from AEW could persuade The Monster Among All Monsters to sign with the company and make his shocking debut at Full Gear 2025, changing the entire landscape of the All Elite landscape.
