AEW is less than two weeks away from hosting its upcoming pay-per-view, Full Gear. Before that, however, the Tony Khan-led company will stage the 2025 edition of Blood and Guts this coming Wednesday on Dynamite. The episode will mark a historic occasion, as it will not only present the usual men's version of the bout but also feature a women's version of the matchup for the first time.AEW's primary rival brand, WWE, just made headlines on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, where John Cena finally became a Grand Slam Champion by winning the Intercontinental Title from Dominik Mysterio. The hype generated by this outcome could motivate Tony Khan to make sure that Dynamite: Blood and Guts leaves just as memorable an impression on viewers.Let's look at three ways the All Elite Wrestling head honcho might achieve that.#1. Kamille could make her AEW return during the Women's Blood and Guts matchFor several months now, hostilities have built up between The Triangle of Madness and the stars they have been targeting in the All Elite Wrestling women's locker room. After fending off Julia Hart, Skye Blue, and Thekla following her victory over The Dark Princess earlier this September, Jamie Hayter expressed her desire to finally deal with the villainous faction once and for all, challenging them to face her and her allies in the first Women's Blood and Guts match. Some time after multiple injuries forced Tony Khan to make changes to the initial lineup of stars set to participate in the bout, AEW announced the teams for the Women's Blood and Guts match, with Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Jamie Hayter, and Kris Statlander facing off against The Triangle of Madness, Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, and Mercedes Mone. The two alliances will clash this coming Wednesday in what is sure to be an incredibly violent match. The bout could also potentially serve as the stage for Kamille's surprising return. The Brickhouse might make her AEW comeback to ambush "Ultimo" Mone, picking up their rivalry where they had left it last year. In fact, she could also go after Statlander, who handed the star her first loss in the company and is set to defend her Women's World Title against The CEO at Full Gear 2025.Considering how long she has been on hiatus, TK bringing Kamille back to programming without much foreshadowing could certainly draw more eyes to Dynamite: Blood and Guts. The former NWA World Women's Champion, notably, had made her AEW debut at last year's version of the same show as Mercedes Mone's new henchwoman.#2. AEW World Champion Hangman Page could beat Powerhouse Hobbs with a little help from his new friendsAfter being betrayed by Samoa Joe and The Opps at WrestleDream 2025, Adam Page vowed to ruin The Samoan Submission Specialist's life. The former World Champion earned another shot at The Cowboy's title by winning a contender's four-way on Fright Night AEW Dynamite, but unfortunately suffered a shocking ambush afterward, carried out by Page, in a Tony Schiavone disguise. This past Wednesday, The Hangman teamed with Eddie Kingston and Hook to challenge The Opps for their World Trios Titles. The champions ended up retaining their belts after Powerhouse Hobbs submitted The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil with a torture rack. Before this, however, The Embodiment of Willpower had taken out Page with a massive World's Strongest Slam off the entrance stage through a table.Hangman Page, Hook, and Eddie Kingston [Screenshot via @AEW on X]It was subsequently announced that AEW's "Main Character" will battle Hobbs in a Falls Count Anywhere match on Dynamite: Blood and Guts. Samoa Joe will no doubt see this bout as an opportunity to soften Page before their World Title rematch at Full Gear, and both he and Katsuyori Shibata could interfere to help Hobbs dominate the Virginia native. This might then prompt Kingston and Hook to even the odds for Hangman, allowing him to put away the former TNT Champion.#3. Death Riders could lose Blood and Guts match and turn face, stand up to another top heel faction afterwardThe Death Riders are not walking into the 2025 Men's Blood and Guts match with a lot of momentum. The faction failed to secure the entry advantage for the bout, and its leader, Jon Moxley, has been on an unexpected losing streak ever since he submitted to Darby Allin at WrestleDream.Speculations on social media among fans indicate that viewers expect the Death Riders to turn on their One True King, especially if he surrenders during Blood and Guts this Wednesday. However, a more interesting angle could instead be booked for afterward, with the Death Riders turning face and showing respect to Allin, Roderick Strong, and The Conglomeration, acknowledging their opponents as truly worthy rivals.Official match graphic for this year's Men's Blood and Guts match [Screenshot via @AEW on X]To solidify this turn, the Death Riders could stop Kyle Fletcher and the Don Callis Family from attacking Mark Briscoe after Blood and Guts. The long-anticipated confrontation between the two top stables could launch a rivalry between the groups, as was teased recently on AEW programming.
