AEW star Jon Moxley formed the Death Riders last year. The group was dominant until recent months. Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, and Wheeler Yuta strongly protected The Purveyor of Violence during his AEW World Championship reign. However, things have fallen apart since The One True King lost his title to Adam Page.

While the addition of Daniel Garcia has made the faction stronger, Jon doesn't seem to be the same person he was a year ago. It appears that losing to Darby Allin at WrestleDream may have weakened him further. In the past two matches on Dynamite, he faced Kyle O'Reilly and couldn't pick up a victory in any of the two bouts. He lost one by disqualification and the other by double countout.

After the rematch on Fright Night Dynamite, The Conglomeration challenged the Death Riders to a Blood and Guts match, which is scheduled in just two weeks. It seems Jon Moxley's recent losses haven't gone unnoticed by the Death Riders, and they might decide to kick him out, especially if they lose at the Blood and Guts contest.

If the eviction does happen at the special event, who should replace him? Let's look at some potential names who could step up and rule the Death Riders.

#3. Marina Shafir

Marina Shafir was the first member introduced to the fans after the former AEW World Champion. She has been Moxley's closest ally, accompanying him in almost every match. She might also be aware of The One True King's mind games. The Problem could be the Death Riders' solution and lead the faction.

Marina could even bring her husband, Roderick Strong, into the group. Also, she has proven time and again to be as convulsive as The One True King.

#2. Darby Allin

Besides Hangman Page, Darby Allin is the one who has dominated Jon Moxley. The story started with The Relentless star last year and might conclude this year at Blood and Guts, with Darby leading the group by defeating Moxley. He may have even hinted at his arrival in the Death Riders while building their I Quit match at WrestleDream.

The former TNT Champion said he would love to join the Death Riders for the motive, but he doesn't like Jon Moxley or his way. He has already proven his dominance over Moxley and could even lead the faction if The One True King is out of the equation.

#1. Will Claudio Castagnoli betray Jon Moxley?

The Swiss Superman has been dominant and has proven his loyalty to Moxley. However, now that he has failed as a leader multiple times, it seems he might take over the regime and lead it. Claudio Castagnoli is powerful, and just like Marina Shafir, he knows too much about Jon Moxley, including his weaknesses.

Putting Claudio at the top of the Death Riders will elevate Claudio to his full potential. He could become the next main event star of the promotion if booked right.

It will be interesting to see what goes down at Blood and Guts in two weeks.
