AEW has had an amazing 2025. However, if its full roster were available, the ongoing year would have been even better for the promotion. While some stars are absent due to injury, others are out of action because of other commitments. Nevertheless, fans are expecting comebacks at Worlds End.

It appears that viewers want Tony Khan to bring back multiple performers. Here are four stars who could return at AEW Worlds End 2025.

#3. Former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker

Tony Khan has not booked Britt Baker in any of All Elite Wrestling's programs for over a year. The 34-year-old is a former AEW Women's World Champion and a talented wrestler. However, she has been involved in her fair share of controversies in recent years.

A few months ago, former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman claimed that Baker's time in the Jacksonville-based company was over, and she was close to signing with World Wrestling Entertainment.

"Alright, so I just got in real time. You guys know, I've just been breaking news left and right, and I have yet when it's in context, I have yet to be wrong. So, I just found out there's a name, a female name, out there that is this close to signing with the WWE. Any guesses?...Gone from AEW [Britt Baker], close." he said.

Tony Khan might squash these rumors and bring Baker back at Worlds End. She could be next in line to challenge Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship.

#2. Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland joined All Elite Wrestling in 2023. He has held the TNT Championship twice, and both his reigns were quite good. His last match in the company took place at All Out 2025, where he and Christian Cage defeated FTR. He is currently on hiatus, and reports have suggested that he is filming the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

The Rated R-Superstar might be done with shooting, and he could make a shocking return at Worlds End. The arena will definitely explode if this happens because the former Edge is one of the greatest of all time, and fans adore him.

#1. Buddy Matthews

Buddy Matthews joined All Elite Wrestling in 2022. Brody King is his ally, and they are collectively known as the Hounds of Hell. The Australian star injured his leg earlier this year before his match against Kazuchika Okada for the Continental Championship at Grand Slam: Australia. He has been out of action since. However, his recovery process has seemingly been going well.

The former WWE star might make a shocking return at Worlds End 2025. He might come back as a heel and brutally attack Brodido (Bandido and King). King and Bandido were the AEW World Tag Team Champions when the 37-year-old was at home. This might trigger jealousy and frustration and result in Matthews going insane. We could also witness a match between him and King in the future.
