AEW World Champion "Hangman" Adam Page is going to defend his title against The Opps' Powerhouse Hobbs in a Falls Count Anywhere match at Blood & Guts 2025.

The Anxious Millennial Cowboy's rivalry with The Opps has been captivating so far. He is also slated to defend his title against Samoa Joe at Full Gear 2025. However, there is a strong possibility that he will get dethroned by Hobbs tonight. The former TNT Champion is a dominant in-ring competitor. Furthermore, since the match is Falls Count Anywhere, Joe and Katsuyori Shibata will definitely be involved.

Interestingly, some stars could come to Hangman's rescue if Joe and Shibata interfere in the World Title match. Here are three who could:

#3. Hook

Hook is the son of wrestling legend/AEW commentator Taz. Now 26 years old, he made his in-ring debut in 2021 against Fuego Del Sol. He is an emerging star, and Tony Khan probably has huge plans for him. The three-time FTW Champion was once a member of The Opps. But he is now in an alliance with Eddie Kingston.

Hook and Kingston came to the AEW World Champion's aid on last week's Dynamite when the latter was about to get attacked by Joe, Hobbs, and Shibata. Furthermore, Hangman, Hook, and Kingston unsuccessfully challenged Joe, Hobbs, and Shibata for the AEW World Trios Championship later that night.

It seems like the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil has a good relationship with The Anxious Millennial Cowboy. If Joe and Shibata try to get involved in the Falls Count Anywhere match, there is a strong chance that the New York native will come to the World Champion's aid.

#2. Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston's partnership with Hook has immense potential. The former AEW Continental Champion was out of action for more than a year. But now that he is back, Tony Khan will likely give him a strong push. The 43-year-old is one of the most talented names in All Elite Wrestling, and it makes sense for him to be involved in the main event scene.

If Shibata and Joe interfere in tonight's Falls Count Anywhere World Title match, The Mad King will probably show up to help The Anxious Millennial Cowboy. As mentioned before, Hook, Kingston, and Hangman unsuccessfully challenged The Opps for the AEW World Trios Championships last week. Even though the trio failed to win the titles, the match strengthened their bond. It seems like the champion has immense trust in Hook and Kingston.

#1. Former AEW World Champion MJF

Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) is a modern-day great. Aged just 29, he is destined for great things. The Salt of the Earth is currently on a hiatus. However, he might shock the world by making his AEW return this week and help "Hangman" Adam Page if Joe and Shibata interfere in the Falls Count Anywhere World Title match.

By doing so, the Young Genius will officially turn face. He could then have an interesting storyline with The Anxious Millennial Cowboy. Friedman can also use the Casino Gauntlet match contract he won at All In 2025 to challenge the champion in a future pay-per-view.
